Joyce Hairred

Mr. Joyce Dale (J.D.) Hairred, age 72, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. Mr. Hairred was born in Valdosta, Georgia, to Earnest James Hairred and Emma Lou Ellis Hairred. He was raised in Oklahoma. He joined the U. S. Army and served in Korea. J.D. drove a truck for many years before moving to Georgia. He worked for Griffin Well Drilling and later opened his own business doing automotive repairs. August 10, 1999, he married Norma Jean, who survives. Mr. Hairred attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Bainbridge. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017, at the First Church of the Nazarene. A private burial will be held in the Nazarene Cemetery. The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate.
