J. P. Williams, 87, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Bainbridge Health Care. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Eldorendo Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Mr. Williams was born October 19, 1928, the son of Jesse Williams and Lanie Powell Williams. He was a retired welder. When he wasn't spending time with his family, Mr. J.P. enjoyed riding down country roads. He was also an avid reader who enjoyed westerns. Survivors include his daughter, Patsy Williams Harkins of Eldorendo, GA; his grandchildren, Ryan Harkins, Jana Harkins, and Lani Harkins Rineer; his great-grandchildren, Liam Harkins, Colin Harkins, Evelyn Harkins, Brooks Rineer, Naomi Rineer, and Catherine Bell; and his daughter-in-law, Deborah Williams of Eldorendo. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jimmie Dodson Williams; and his son, Winston Williams.
