Judith Carroll Mosley Flood, age 83, of Bainbridge, Georgia passed away on September 30, 2024 in Tallahassee, Florida surrounded by her family. The family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later date.
Judith Carroll Mosley Flood was born on June 28, 1941 in Spencer, Missouri to her parents Layton Maddox Mosley and Pearl Fredricka Harkness Mosley. She grew up in Fordland, Missouri. As a military wife, she traveled overseas and throughout many states. She loved her job at Jones-Wheat Elementary School where she served for many years as a substitute teacher. In her later years, she enjoyed staying at home reading and watching anything Hallmark and all things true crime related. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-grandmother. Judith Flood is survived by her children, Robert Lyn Reynolds (Shelia), Rodney Lee Reynolds, and Mindy Kirkland (Woodie); her grandchildren, Robert Allan Reynolds, Amanda Brooklyn Bailey, and Landon Andrew Lane; and her great-grandchild, Shelby Bailey. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Swearengin (Freddie), Patricia Pinkley, and Ricci Wood as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Layton at young age. She was also predeceased by her irreplaceable mother, Pearl, who loved her unconditionally and with her whole heart. Lastly, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Drew, whom she has missed terribly. May she now be at peace and in their presence.
