Judy Cook

Mrs. Judy Yvette Hurst Cook, age 57, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020, at her home in Cairo, Georgia. A private service will be held at a later date. Judy Yvette Hurst was born April 22, 1963 in Cairo, Georgia to Perry Winfred Hurst, Sr. and Holly Ripple Page Hurst. Judy grew up in Cairo and graduated in the Cairo High School class of 1981. She was married to Michael Jerome Cook. Judy loved to cook. She was a talented baker and cake decorator. She enjoyed working in the yard. Mostly she was all about her family. She enjoyed family gatherings. Her children and grandchildren were her heart. Sky, her dog, was precious to Judy. Judy Hurst Cook will be deeply missed by the family she loved and her many friends. Judy Cook is survived by her husband, Michael Jerome Cook; father, Perry Winfred Hurst, Sr. (Jean); children, Franny Edenfield and Berry Dale Lee; sibling, Pam Folsom (Lenward) and Perry Hurst, Jr. (Wendy); grandchildren, Sarah-Jean Graham Lee, Holly Kathrine Lee, and Temprance Rae Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Holly Hurst and sister, Suzette Hurst.
