Judy Collins Whitaker, age 76, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. The family will schedule a service at a later date.

Judy Collins Whitaker was born September 15, 1947, in Reno, Georgia. Her parents, Robert Brown Collins and Ethel Elizabeth Keen Collins, have preceded her in death. Judy was a quiet, kind person. She took in stray animals and stray people. If you needed someone to care for you, she was the person. She loved everyone. Judy enjoyed working with crafts. She painted bird houses, made wreaths, all sorts of artsy things. Judy was an old-fashioned, country girl. She enjoyed working in her flowers and planting her garden. She would have the best time canning and putting up her vegetables. Judy loved to cook and her family was her world. She has been married to Bradley Irving Whitaker for about 34 years. They were best friends and together all the time. Judy will be deeply missed by those many family members and friends she loved so very much.
