Juliet Kelly

Juliet Alegria Kelly, age 69, of Climax, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025. A private service will be held graveside in Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery,163 Sykes Mill Road, Climax, Georgia.

Juliet Alegria Kelly was born on November 6th, 1956 in Quezon City, Philippines to her parents Rogaciano and Natividad Alegria. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the Philippine Normal University. At the suggestion of her Aunt Luz, she started writing to a young country boy from Climax, GA. It wasn't long before a plane ticket and her parents' blessings sent her all the way to the other side of the globe. Leaving everything she ever knew, she came to the United States and married her pen pal sweetheart, Roger Paul Kelly. They were married for 41 years and had one son, Joseph Melvin Kelly. While Juliet worked a few jobs around the Climax area, she later chose to make a home for her family and take care of their son. She always had a giving heart and would often go without in order for others to have. She was selfless, obedient, and faithful to her Savior, family, and friends. One of her greatest joys was the birth of her granddaughter, Dorothy AnneMarie Kelly. She treasured every moment they shared playing together. Juliet leaves behind her husband, Roger Paul Kelly, son, Joseph Melvin Kelly (Natalie), granddaughter, Dorothy AnneMarie Kelly, her fur baby, Loretta Lynn Kelly, and her aunt, Luz Musgrove. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Romeo, and sister, Edith.
