June Hill

June M. Hill, 89, of McConnelsville,OH passed away at 3:40 p.m. Thursday June 19,2014 at the Bainbridge Health Care Center in Bainbridge, Georgia. She was born July 12,1924 in Charleston, W. V. to the late Benjamin Franklin Kuhn abd Edith Johns Kuhn. June was retired from Borden's Dairy where she had worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Valley Chapter #19 O.E.S., American Legion Auxillary and the V.F.W. Auxillary. She was also a member of the Purple Heart Chapter #625 Auxillary and was past president of the State of Ohio Purple Heart Auxillary. June is survived by a step daughter, Dixie Hutto of Climax, GA.; a foster child, Patricia Haynes of Memphis, TN.; a step son, Franklin Keith Hill of Vero Beach, FL.; two grandsons; and four step grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Hill; and two step sons, John Gary Hill and Michael Steven Hill. Calling hours will be Monday June 23,2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday June 24,2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Walter Jones officiating.
