June Jones

June Elizabeth Jones, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Brian Center in Weaverville, North Carolina. A native of Wayne County, MI, she was the daughter of the late George Scott and Stella Bauer Scott. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Woodrow Nathaniel Jones. June and Woodrow (originally from Bainbridge) settled in Bainbridge, Georgia after they married and gave birth to their two daughters there as well Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in their hearts of children and their families: Ken and Laura Jones of Florida, Karen and Charlie Ervin of North Carolina, Sharon Sanders of California, and Karl and Jennifer Jones of Florida. Along with her 4 children, she leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at noon, 12:00, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, graveside, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Brian Hatchett will officiate.
