June Waters

Mrs. June Beverley Waters passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at her home in Bainbridge. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Waters at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel. June Beverley was born June 25, 1928 in Clintwood, Virginia to William Simon and Risa Clyde Dodson Beverley. She was a talented beautician and cosmetologist. June moved from Jonesboro, Georgia to Bainbridge about 5 years ago. While in Jonesboro, she was an active member of the Eastern Star. June Waters is survived by her children: Rebecca Goodman and husband, Jimmy, Sr., of Bainbridge, Beth Carden of Bainbridge, and Fred R. Brown and wife, Laura, of Pelzer, South Carolina; sister and brother: Alberta Phipps of Falmouth, Virginia and Robert Beverley of Havana, Florida; grandchildren: Karen Abbott, Jimmy L. Goodman, Jr., Kerrie Kenney, Melissa Stien, Robert Ward, Abbi Cardin, and Nikki Brown; and 16 great grandchildren. Mrs. Water was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ralph Waters, and grandchildren, Karly Cole and Kevin Ward.
