Katherine Taylor

Katherine Reynolds Taylor, 95, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Humphries officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery with her nephews serving as active pallbearers. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Katherine was born September 8, 1926 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of William Byron Reynolds and Hesta Cook Reynolds.  She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and was a bookkeeper for many years with Kitchengs Bookkeeping Company.  She also worked many years with her husband at the family business, Flowers By Taylor.  She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Mike Taylor of Buckhead, GA; and her granddaughters, Caroline Taylor of Roswell, GA and Sarah Beth Taylor of Madison, Ga.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Damon W. Taylor.
