Mrs. Kathleen Rachel Dyess, 88, of Colquitt, GA, passed away Friday, December 5, 2008 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. The graveside funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Pleasant View Church of God Cemetery with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. She was retired from Thompson Industries and was a member of Pleasant View Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lee Givens and Alfred L. Dyess; her son, Willie R. Givens; her daughter, Belinda Faye Day; and her brother, Buddy Rachel. Survivors include her son, James Arthur Givens of Albany, GA; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
