Mr. Keith DeWayne Putnal, age 53, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away June 28, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley and Dr. Danny Shepard officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Timmy Cook, Trevor Cook, Franklin Gunderman, J.W. Putnal, III., Clint Putnal, Frank Gibson, Louis Hyatt, and Buz Livingston serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Baraca Sunday School Class, Joe Daniel , Marvin Hines, Bruce Hall, Bruce Mann, Tim Sims, Jim Potter, Bernie Brookins, Edward Reynolds, Cary Dollar, Tom Conger, Fields Varner, David Hyatt, Jerry Henry, and Marion Martin. Mr. Putnal was born on April 11, 1954 in Bainbridge, GA to Joseph Washington Putnal and Carolyn Ward Putnal. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1973 and was a salesman. Keith was a member of First Baptist Church, the Baracca Sunday School Class, the Hasan Shrine Temple, Bainbridge Shrine Club, and was Past Worshipful Master of Orion Lodge #8 F&AM. Survivors include his mother Carolyn Ward Phillips of Bainbridge, GA; three brothers, Joe W. Putnal, Jr. and wife Patty of Bainbridge, GA, Gary W. Putnal and wife Cindy of LaGrange, GA, and Mike Putnal of Bainbridge, GA; two sisters, Paula Grollman and husband Jody of Bainbridge, GA, and Gina P. Griffin and husband Tim of Bainbridge, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
