Kenneth Kaplan

Kenneth Stephen Kaplan, age 76, passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. A private family service will be held later to honor Mr. Kaplan.

Kenneth Stephen Kaplan was born in Ohio, January 3, 1950, to Horace Kaplan and Eleanor Pragg Kaplan. His parents have preceded him in death. Kenneth was raised in Macon, Georgia. After college he found he had a talent in sales and has worked for numerous car dealers and sold many cars in his career. His hobby was refurbishing tobacco pipes. He would find them, clean them up and make them look brand new, like small pieces of artwork. Kenneth had a heart attack a few years ago and became a home body. He deeply loved his family and will be sorely missed.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Kimberly Safi (Alex) of Miami, Florida and Kelly Sadler (Sammie) of Moultrie, Georgia; grandchildren, Konner Jones, Keegan Jones, Natalia Safi, Dominic Safi, Quintin Safi, and Lincoln Safi; his sister, Marsha Cohen (Max) of Miami, and their children, Jennifer and Jason; and the mother of his children, Karen Wells of Miami.
