Kenyon "Ken" Brite  PriceApril 18, 1938 - May 18, 2023 Kenyon "Ken" Brite Price, age 85, of Damascus, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at his residence. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Redemption Church of God with Bishop Brent Griffin officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Ken was born April 18, 1938 in Wrightsville, Georgia  the son of M.D. Price, Sr. and Lillie Mae Price. Ken was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, First Marine Division. He was retired (if you knew Ken, there was no such thing as retirement) from Early Manufacturing Company. He started Dawson Fish House in Dawson, GA and  Price and Price Scrap Tire Company in Damascus, GA. During his downtime, you could find him fishing at Lake Okeechobee or deer hunting. He remained active until his death. Ken loved God and his family. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Shirley Ann Price; his sons, Kenny Price of Atlanta, GA and Britt Price (Melody) of Damascus, GA; his daughter, Pam Price-Greene (Randy); his grandchildren, Allen (Melissa), Haley, Jacob, Kendahl, Joshua, and Chandler; his great-grandsons, Bryce and Ryan; his siblings, John Wayne Price (Dorothy), Silas Price (Linda), and Tillman Price (Judith); and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken  was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Annie Mary Martin, Betty Sue Herrington, Marcus D. Price, Jr., and Albert Price. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redemption Church of God, 21862 Lucile Road, Blakley, GA 39823. The Price family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
