Kyle R. J. Duke, 43, of Faceville, GA, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015.The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Faceville Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Johns and Dr. Ernie Jones officiating. A private interment will be at Greenshade Cemetery with Garrett Williams, Andy Jeter, Robert Brice, Gregory Duke, Jake Jeter, and Pat Thomas serving as active pallbearers.The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.Kyle was born July 17, 1972 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Vance Duke and Judith Sue Martin Duke. Kyle was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1990. He earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Thomas College. Kyle was a loving father and good brother and a wonderful son. He would do anything that would support his family. Kyle loved children, especially his nephews which he treated like his own. Many days he could be found hunting with his son and nephews. He had a great sense of humor and quick wit. He enjoyed winning a battle of the wits when given any opportunity. Kyle had a stubborn streak which caused him to never give up. His ability to bounce back from trials is a testimony to his strong spirit. Survivors include his son, Mason Hunter Duke of Faceville; his mother, Judith Martin Duke of Faceville; his siblings, Camille Duke Mueller and her husband, Dave, of Crawfordville, FL, Michael Vance Duke and his wife, Jo, of Faceville, Colin Gregory Duke and his wife, Amy, of Eatonton, GA, Sheila Duke McCrea and her husband, Derek, of Columbus, GA, and Amy Katherine Hope Duke of Faceville; his nephews, Tristan, Caleb, Gregory, Garrison, Devin, and Jeffery; and his beloved cousin, Edwin Duke. Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Vance Duke, and his nephew, Shaun.
