Larry Hines

Larry Hines, 77, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Stapleton and Rev. Lynn Roberts officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery in Meigs, GA with Ben Hines, Shawn Dean, Chris Dean, Tommy Bernier, Keith Roberts, John Thomas, Bruce Thomas, and Alan Thomas serving as active pallbearers. Mr. Hines was born July 31, 1936 in Camilla, GA, the son of William Eugene Hines and Julia Margaret Brinkley Hines. He worked as a sales rep with ADC Wholesale Grocery and Callahan Grocery, parts manager for Keenan Auto Parts, De Rose Industry, and most recently worked for Barber Fertilizer. Mr. Hines was a member of Covenant Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Martha Ann Hines of Bainbridge, GA; his daughter, Sheila H. Todd and her husband, Joe, of Bainbridge, GA; his siblings, Anne Wilson and her husband, Butch, of Bainbridge, GA, Homer Hines and his wife, Gloria, of Opelika, AL, Deborah Singleton of Bainbridge, GA, and Rneé Stockton and her husband, Don, of Tallahassee, FL; and his two grandchildren, Colby Todd and Kyle Todd. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Glenda Ann Hines, Morris Hines, Allen Hines, and Freddy Hines.
