Larry Lowe

Larry L. Lowe, age 70, of Climax, GA, passed away Monday, June 12th, 2023. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Powell officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023  at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel immediately before the service. Mr. Lowe was born Saturday, January 24th, 1953 in Cairo, Georgia, the son of Lawrence L. Lowe and Evelyn Lowe. He worked in Industrial Maintenance and worked in the trucking industry until he officially retired to spend more time with his family. He never lost his love of trucks and continued to work on them, as well as other types of tinkering, throughout retirement. Mr. Lowe loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His children-in-laws always meant so much to him, and he always considered them as close as his own children. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Juanita "Nita" Lowe; children, Larry "Buddy" Lowe (Patti); Ansley "Lisa" Varnadore (Jason);  Chrissy Faulk (Travis); Kayeleigh Ketner (Jonathan); grandchildren, Blake Lowe, Parker Lowe, Madelyn Lowe, Sarah Varnadore, Bailey Varnadore, Sydney Varnadore, Sadie Rae Faulk, Tyler Faulk, Nathan Ketner, Callan Ketner, Emelia Ketner; sister-in-law, Betty Genovar; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
