Larry Ernest Shoemaker, 65, of Jakin, GA, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. Church Street, Cartersville, GA 30120.Larry was born July 27, 1950 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Larry Ernest Shoemaker and Agnes Dollar Shoemaker. He retired from sales and enjoyed spending time with friends. His favorite pastimes included fishing and boating. Survivors include his children, Brenda S. Ramo of Missouri, Brian Shoemaker and his wife, Leslie, of Cartersville, GA; and five grandchildren.
