Latoyia "Stooge" Gardner, age 43, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 10th, 2022A memorial service will be held in her honor at 2:00 p.m. on October 1, 2022 at 3750 N State Road 7, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33309. Online visitors may sign the guest register at  www.iveyfuneral.com.Latoyia was born on March 10, 1979, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Daryl Cunningham and Beverly Ward. She attended Stranahan High School. For many years until her retirement, she had a career in customer service. With an attitude like no other, there was never a dull moment with Latoyia. If she called you her friend, what was hers, was yours! If ever there was a battle, she'd certainly suit up and go to war for you, for her, for the culture. Sharper than a razor blade, her clap backs, jokes, and storytelling often left you weak in the knees from laughter. Our beloved, mother, daughter, sister, and friend lived her life on her own terms. Her heart was as big as her personality and her spirit was as free as a bird. Higher than the sun, brighter than the moon, Latoyia's flower has finally bloomed. Survived by her brother, Dwayne Prescott (Jarenta); sister, Anisha Danielson (Mishael Danielson);  aunt, Deetra Cooper; uncle, Frank White; childhood friends, Melissa Dunbar and Walter Settles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Latoyia was preceded in death by her daughter, Jakerria Bray; her mother, Beverly Ward;her grandmother, Margaret Ward; and her aunt, Margaret Thomas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Heart Association.
