Laura McPherson Hobbs, 51, of Griffin, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Griffin, GA. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Attapulgus Church of God with Pastor Joseph Crews, Rev. Glenn Ring, and Pastor Joel Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Attapulgus Cemetery. Brian Bellville, Bill Cochran, Elwood Ward, Ricky Spooner, Rick Spooner, and Keith Lafferty will serve as active pallbearers. Laura was born June 18, 1952 in Wauwatosa, WI, the daughter of Loy McPherson and Carol Kanz McPherson. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Sunnyside, GA.
