Laura L. Smith, 91, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her sister's residence in Pensacola, FL. The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Sylvania Cemetery with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating. Mrs. Smith was born October 29, 1920 in Aliceville, AL, the daughter of William Franklin Jones and Odie Weeze Lee Jones. She retired from the postal data center in Atlanta, GA and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her brother, John Lofton Jones of Bainbridge, GA; and her sister, Ethel I. Britt of Pensacola, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. J. Smith; three brothers; and one sister.
