Laurine Jackson

Laurine Sasser Jackson, 92, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was born July 26, 1919 in Grady County, GA, the daughter of George Thomas Sasser and Sallie Lindsey Sasser. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Survivors include her stepdaughters, Beth Rish of Albany, GA and Alice Crews and her husband, Gene, of Albany, GA; her stepson, Jacky Jackson and his wife, Sharon, of Bainbridge, GA; her nieces, Sally Hall, Joyce Smith, and Jean Poole, all of Columbus, GA; her daughter-in-law, Linda Fowler and her husband, Jimmy, of Bainbridge, GA; 7 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam H. Jackson.
