Laveda Walker

Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Laveda Stokes Walker will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Fr. Thadeus Searles S.T. officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens. Mrs. Walker was born January 21, 1916 in Illinois. She was a homemaker and was married to James Walker. Mrs. Walker had lived in Ashburn for the past twelve years moving there from Bainbridge. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bainbridge and was an avid dog lover. Her passion in life was raising and judging show dogs. Mrs. Walker passed away at her residence in Ashburn, GA Friday, September 24, 2010. She is survived by her step son and daughter -in-law James and Linda Walker of Ashburn, GA; two step-grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Walker.
