August 5, 1931 — May 23, 2014

Mr. Lee Forester Yager, age 82, of Climax, Georgia, passed away late Friday, May 23, 2014, at Memorial Hospital.  Services for Mr. Yager will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Climax Baptist Church.  Rev. Steve Poppell will be officiating.  The members of the Josh Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.  Mr. Yager will be interred in Roselawn Memory Gardens. Lee Forester Yager was born August 5, 1931 in Vernon, Florida, to James Alexander Yager and Nellie Mae Collins Yager.  Lee retired from Amoco Fabrics.  He was of the Pentecostal faith.  The son of a minister, he enjoyed going to church.  Lee was a quiet and humble man.   He will be dearly missed by the family he loved so much. Lee Yager is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sara E. Yager of Climax, Georgia; children, James L. Yager and wife, April of Cummings, Georgia and Ricky Yager of Ellendale, Delaware; stepsons, Carlton Boyett and Darryl Boyett and wife, Erin of Climax; sister, Louise McLaughlin of Chipley, Florida; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Vivian Yager Booker. Donations may be made in Lee\\'s honor to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692.
