Lena Toole Cloud, 70, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2008 at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Leon VanLandingham and Rev. Jean Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating with Lee Isler, Dan Bryant, Lee Thomas, Tommy Avery, Gary McCarty, and Jamie Ard serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Cloud was born January 3, 1938 in Early County, GA, the daughter of Ludie A. Toole and Lennie McMullen Toole. She attended Bainbridge College and was a retired secretary for Georgia Pines. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Emmett Toole. Survivors include her husband, Joe H. Cloud of Bainbridge, GA; her son, Elvin Cloud and wife Natalie of Iron City, GA; her daughter, Sherry Bell and husband Tommy of Brinson, GA; three brothers, Jimmy Hayes and R. L. Hayes, both of Lake Wales, FL, and Joe Toole of Donalsonville, GA; three sisters, Mary Lou Anglin of Iron City, GA, Ann Niblock of Donalsonville, GA, and Nita Brown of Apollo Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Franklin Smith, Daniel Bell, Seth Cloud, Cale Cloud, and Christy Webber; and a great-grandson, Avrahm Webber.
