Leo Faircloth, 69, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Black Jack Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Ted Martin, DeVaughn Valentine, Michael Valentine, Nelson Alvarez, Bill Allen, Daniel Bell and Marion Humphrey serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Black Jack Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. He was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School and served with the United States Air Force. Mr. Faircloth was a carpenter and a member of Black Jack Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Linda Bell Faircloth of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Ricky Faircloth of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Debbie Logue and her husband, Dennis of Climax, GA and Missy Harrell and her husband, Glenn of Bainbridge, GA; his mother, Gladys Murkerson Faircloth of Bainbridge, GA; three grandchildren, Jamie McMillan, Jared Humphrey and Dylan Harrell; and three great-grandchildren, Alex McMillan, Dalton McMillan and Jaden McMillan.
