Leonard Kistner

Leonard Joseph Kistner, age 75, of Climax, GA, passed away Saturday, April 2nd, 2022. A private service will be held at a later date. Len was born Wednesday, August 28th, 1946, in Pensacola, Florida the son of Leonard Emory Kistner and Inez Marie Arcement Kistner.  He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with his bachelor's in Languages.  Len worked at Bainbridge College as a Business professor.  He got his MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management and his Ph.D. from Capella Online University.  While in California, he taught business through the University of California system.  And, once leaving California he continued his teaching career within the Georgia State system. Survivors include wife of 52, Gisela Kistner; siblings, Wayne Kistner of California, Cheryl Kistner Romig of South Carolina, and Jo Ann Kistner Brown (Mark) both of California; 5 nieces; 4 nephews; 1 great-niece; and 2 great-nephews. Len was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marlin; and nephew, Jeffrey.
