Leslie Haire

Leslie Elaine Haire, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. There will be no public services. Leslie was born April 28, 1943 in Norfolk, Virginia to Otis and Annette Gibson Haire. Leslie spent her early childhood in Bainbridge and moved to Atlanta as a teenager, where she later had a successful career in residential real estate. Leslie married Donald Edward Rogers who has preceded her in death. Leslie returned to Bainbridge after her retirement and has been a resident for over 30 years. Leslie was a compassionate and generous lady. She had a huge heart and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. An animal lover, she had many dogs throughout her lifetime, including her current Chihuahua “Puccini”. Ms. Haire is survived by her son, Randall Rogers of Davidson, North Carolina and his wife Ivana; sister, Adrienne Weisse of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Victoria, Oliver, Alina and Carrie; nephews, Andrew Weisse and Stefan Weisse and their families; and cousin, Sue Alley of Bainbridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Katherine Leslie Rogers.
