Linda Davis

Linda C. Davis, 67, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Black Jack Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Adamson officiating. Interment will follow at Black Jack Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Caleb Atkins, Levi Atkins, Stennes Austinson, Logan Davis, Jordan Davis, Josiah Austinson, Anders Austinson, and Branch Austinson. Ms. Davis was born December 25, 1946 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Arnold Davis and Nellie Shoupe Davis. She was a retired Registered Nurse with Memorial Hospital and Manor as well as Wiregrass Hospice and a member of Black Jack Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Andy Davis and his wife, Melodee, of Avon Park, FL; her daughter, Carol S. Mathes and her husband, Dale, of Dawsonville, GA; her brothers, Jerry Davis of Bainbridge, GA and Jack Davis and his wife, Karen, of Eufaula, AL; her grandchildren, Stephen Spears and James Spears; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Hugh Spears, II; and her sister, Pat Edmunds.
