Linda Harrison

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Smedley Harrison, age 56 of Climax, GA, will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Climax United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne McDonald and Rev. Tegler Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Ken Harrison, Alan Harrison, Mark Harrison, Ricky Harrison, Jason Priest and Roger Nix serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cox - Ware Funeral Home. Linda was born in Chicago, IL January 6, 1954 the daughter of Dasie Carter Koler and the now late Russell Smedley and Fred Koler. She was a member of the Climax United Methodist Church and has lived in Decatur County most all her life. Linda graduated from Miller County High School and worked as a receptionist for Dr. David Beauchamp, as a sales clerk at Belk's and has previously worked with Amoco Fabrics for twenty four years. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed flowers and traveling to Biloxi. She passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010. She is survived by her husband of thirty four years Keith Harrison of Climax; one daughter Christy H. Marsh and husband Elliott of Statesboro, GA; two grandchildren Adison and Annalee Marsh; her mother Dasie Carter Smedley Koler of Bainbridge; one brother Russell Smedley and wife Connie of Daleville, AL; father and mother- in law Buryl and Martha Harrison of Climax; sister-in-law Elaine Moore and husband Winston of Climax; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
