Funeral Services for Mr. Linwood Combast, 63, of Bainbridge, GA will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM EST at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Nippers and Rev. Johnny Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home. Mr. Combast was born in Decatur County, GA January 13, 1945 to the now late Jonnie and Leila Hutto Combast. He worked for the City of Bainbridge, was in construction and worked for Amoco Fabrica as a forklift driver and in the color dept. He loved fishing and gardening, was a minister and past pastor in Newton, GA at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, and was a member of Lords Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Combast passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. He is survived by his wife Onis Annette Bellflower Combast of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Sarah Ross of Bainbridge, GA and Jane Stirckland of Woodbine, GA; two sisters, Thelma (husband Larry) Hand of Bainbridge, GA and Bernice Trotman of Bainbridge, GA; three brothers, Joe Combast of Bainbridge, GA, Johnny Combast of Bainbridge, GA, and Paul (wife Cindy) Combast of Loxty, AL; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Mr. Combast was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ray Dan and Terry Michael Combast; and one brother, Lewis Combast.
