Lisa Cross, 46, of Climax, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Carl G. Garnett officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Kenneth Cross, Kenneth Cross,II, Frank Wilson, Frank Brown, Joe Holcombe and Wayne Wilson serving as active pallbearers. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Lisa was very active with the Bainbridge Youth Football League, serving on the board and she enjoyed being a team mom. She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell Lee Wilson, her brother, Bobby Bailey and her step-father, Bill Garrett. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Wayne Cross II of Climax, GA; her two daughters, Sarah Jean Cross of Climax, GA and Wendy Lee Holcombe and her husband Joseph of Bainbridge, GA; her mother, Joyce Garrett; three brothers, Wayne Wilson, Frank Wilson and Todd Bailey; three sisters, Faye Wilson, Kaye Garrett and Donna Bailey; her granddaughter, Kymberlee Holcombe of Bainbridge, GA; and her former husband, Kenneth Cross of Tallahassee, FL.
