Lisa Elaine Knight, 56, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. The memorial graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Lisa was born May 7, 1965 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Marvin Wayne Butler and Carolyn Butler.  She was a graduate of Whigham High School, Class of 1983 and formerly worked at Thomas and Betts. Survivors include her son, Jacob Keaton (Darah) of Cairo, GA; her mother, Carolyn Pope of Bainbridge, GA; her brothers, Marcus Strickland (Tina) and Grant Strickland (Brenda); her sisters, Diane Strickland (Brian Cowart) and Vickie Kelley; her granddaughter, Mellie Keaton of Cairo, GA; and her loving dog, Chow Yen.  She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Wayne Butler; her son, Zack Keaton; her brother, Delmer Strickland; and her sister, Susie Newsome.
