Mrs. Lizzie Cleo Williamson Braswell, age 64, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia. Service for Mrs. Braswell will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, at Fellowship Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Fellowship Church Cemetery. Kyle McMillian, Brian McMillian, Logan Hughes, David Cumbie, David Braswell, and Dexter Thomas will serve as pallbearers. The Rev. DeWitt Phillips and the Rev. Mark Worsley will be officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Lizzie Cleo Williamson was born June 11, 1950, in Miller County, Georgia, to Riley Williamson, Sr. and Willie Bea Hand Williamson. Cleo, for 43 years, has been married to James Lee (Buddy) Braswell. Mrs. Braswell loved working with crafts. She quilted and, at one time, even ran a ceramics shop at her home. Fishing brought her a lot of joy. Cleo Braswell will be sorely missed by the family she loved so much. Lizzie Cleo Williamson Braswell is survived by her husband, James "Buddy" Braswell; children, Lonnie Hughes and wife, Becky, Tammy Braswell McMillan, and husband, Chris, Robbie Braswell Laycock and husband, Pete, Sandi Braswell Haskin and husband, Bobby, and David Braswell and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Angela Hughes, Houston Hughes, Logan Hughes, Tyler Hughes, Kyle McMillian, Brian McMillan, Crystal Weaver, Mattison Haskin, Randall Braswell, Amber Braswell, Paige Braswell and Kayla Braswell; 9 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Riley "Junior" Williamson and wife, Annette, Darrell Williamson and wife, Betty, and Von Williamson; in-laws, Roger and Kathy Braswell, David and Glenda Cumbie, Julian Smith, Tom "Midget" and Pat Braswell, and Faye Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shirley Hughes; brother, Cecil Williamson; sister, Joyce Williamson; and sister-in-law, Betty Smith.
