Lois Easom

Lois Gray Easom, 84, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Wesley Manor Retirement Home in Dothan, AL. The graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Ron McCaskill and Rev. Gerald Ross officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Batchelor, Wayne Easom, Max Kelley, Carlton Kelley, Carlton Thomas, and Mike Yanez. Mrs. Easom was born December 8, 1923 in Houston County, AL, the daughter of James Wesley Gray and Carrie Brown Gray. She graduated from Seminole County High School in 1941 and was a retired office manager for Three Notch EMC. She was a former Sunday School Teacher and member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Easom was preceded in death by two husbands, Bill Schwark and Wallace Easom, a son, Jim Schwark, and a brother, Loyd "Bud" Gray. Survivors include three granddaughters, Cindy S. Ethridge, Melissa S. Zarate, and Jennifer S. Henkle; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Henkle, Makenzie Henkle and Sophie Zarate; and her twin sister, Louise G. Dozier of Iron City, GA.
