Lois Ivey Hodges, 96, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Memorial Manor. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Harvey officiating. Interment will be at Open Pond Cemetery near Jakin, GA. "Jake" Ivey and Mary Harvey Ivey. She graduated from Donalsonville High School and was a retired executive secretary for Sears and Roebuck. She was a member of Brinson United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Andrew Hodges; four brothers, A. D. Ivey, Jr., Edward Ivey, Quentin Ivey, and Ralph Ivey; and a sister, Merle Ivey. Survivors include a brother, Carl Ivey and his wife Janet of Birmingham, AL; a sister, Marie I. Parker and her husband George of Statesboro, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
