Ms. Lois Aileen Taylor-Campbell, age 73, of Cairo, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Camellia Gardens of Life in Thomasville, Georgia. A funeral mass will be held in her honor, April 24, 2016, 8:30 a.m., at St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Cairo, Georgia. The Rev. Father Raymond Calixte, S.T. will be officiating. Lois Aileen Taylor-Campbell was born June 30, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. Aileen lived a very interesting and full life. She served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War, as an electronics tech. Ms. Taylor-Campbell then trained as a nurse. Later, she moved to Whigham, Georgia and took care of her aging mother. Aileen worked many years and, then, retired from Southwestern State Hospital. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Although she never had children of her own, she loved and cared for many of her friend's children. Aileen had a huge heart and will be missed by her many, many friends. Aileen Taylor-Campbell is survived by her half-brother and sister, Louis J. Mivelaz and wife, Debbie, of Bay City, Texas and Janey LeSage of San Antonio, Texas; adopted family, Lein and Kenny Le and children, Nelson and Victor, Maria Delapena, Samantha Contraras, Ceasar and Leticia Puac and children, Monica, Suzy, and Josue. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles O. Taylor and Mary Geraldine Alexander Taylor.
