Lorene Vonier

Mrs. Lorene Walden Vonier, 81, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Herriman officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Joey West, Ed Kennedy, Gary Floyd, Duane Floyd, Ashby Floyd, and Renay Kennedy serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Vonier was born March 2, 1926 in Bainbridge, GA to the now late Dewey Edgar Walden and Willie Mae Griner Walden. She attended Bainbridge High School, was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hansell "Red" Vonier. Survivors include three sons, Gary Brown and wife Charlotte, J. R. Brown and wife Karen, and Jerry Brown, all of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter, Beverly Pyles and husband Leon of Bainbridge, GA; a sister, Edna Kennedy of Bainbridge, GA; and 4 grandchildren.
