Lucille Fletcher

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Howell Fletcher, age 92 of Climax, GA, will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Climax United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Trey Fletcher, Jason Fletcher, Luke Fletcher, Billy Fletcher and Mark Fletcher serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 at Cox - Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. Fletcher was born in Byronville, GA the daughter of the late Luther Milton and Dollie Baggett Howell. The Howell family moved to Decatur County in 1924 from Dooly County. Mrs Fletcher married John Malcom "Mac" Fletcher who preceded her in death. She was an active member of Climax United Methodist Church and was a member of the WMU. She was a charter member of the Climax Community Club, the Sew and Sew Quilters and Climax Golden Agers. Mrs. Fletcher worked in Climax at Trulock Supply for twelve years and at the Bainbridge State Hospital for ten years. She is survived by one daughter Frances Aukerman and husband Arlie of Lovejoy, GA; two sons John Malcom Fletcher and wife Raye of Hampton, GA and Sam Fletcher and wife Kim of Climax, GA; three grandchildren Trey Fletcher and wife Leanne, Jason Fletcher and wife Alesha and Luke Fletcher; two great grandchildren Grant Fletcher and Aleson Bre Fletcher. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Andrew Howell, Elise Beal, Jabo Howell, Nell Driver, Pete Howell and Sarah Howell.
