Luke Whittaker

Luke Bryant Whittaker, six week old son of Matthew and Heather Whittaker, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home.  A private graveside funeral service will be held at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Woodrum officiating.  Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Grace Church, 1300 Lake Douglas Road, Banbridge, GA 39819. Luke was born April 12, 2016 in Thomasville, GA.  He was a true blessing to everyone around him. Survivors include his parents, Matthew and Heather Whittaker of Bainbridge, GA; his sister, Abigail Elizabeth Whittaker of Bainbridge, GA; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Georgenia Ard Whittaker of Lake Seminole, GA; his maternal grandmother, Anita Brewton of Cartersville, GA; his paternal great-grandmother, Gloria Pace McCullough of Clinton, PA; and his maternal great-great-aunt, Billy Jean Masterson of French Creek, WV.  He  was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Brewton.
