Lynda Darley

Lynda Nolen Darley, 74, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Harrell officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Lynda Christine Nolen was born January 8, 1947 in Roanoke, AL, the daughter of Jordan and Lucille Brown Nolen. She lived most of her life in Southwest Georgia and was Christian by faith. Lynda enjoyed painting and shopping for antiques. Anything with a good story piqued her curiosity. Survivors include her grandchildren, Ronald (R.J.) Sams, Jr., Kevin & Nellie Childree, and William & Catalina Childree; her four great-grandchildren, Aaron, Calvin, Addie, and Aarow; and a host of extended family. In addition to her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Sams, and her brother, Harold Nolen.
