Marcia St.Marie

Marcia A. St. Marie, 87, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Memorial Hospital. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Mosley officiating. Mrs. St. Marie was born January 31, 1926 in Willard, OH, the daughter of Stephen Kovaskitz and Louise Ann Krier Kovaskitz. She was a graduate of Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Sandusky, OH and served as a nurse for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jacksonville, FL. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Eugene Ward St. Marie of Bainbridge, GA; her son, Dr. Michael St. Marie and his wife, Janet, of Albany, GA; her daughter, Nanette St. Marie McIntosh, and her husband, Robert, of Bainbridge, GA; her siblings, Paul Stephen Kovaskitz and his wife, Rita, of Murfreesboro, TN and Rosemary Geiger of Chehalis, WA; her 10 grandchildren; and her 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Patrick Carroll St.Marie; and her brother, John Charles Kovaskitz of Myrtle Beach, SC.
