Margaret Elizabeth "Lib" HoltOctober 7, 1926 - June 25, 2022 Margaret Elizabeth Holt, age 95, of Bainbridge, Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, June 25th, 2022. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will be at Oak City Cemetery Cemetery. Lib was born Thursday, October 7th, 1926 in Stecoah, North Carolina the daughter of Cashies Fish and Martha Jane Fish. She worked at the Georgia Institute for the Blind for over 20 years. She loved deep sea fishing, cat fishing, and spending time on the boat. Lib made the best cathead biscuits that anyone ever tasted. You could find her riding the motorcycle, even outside of the yard that she was supposed to stay in. Survivors include grandchildren, Mark Bridges, Eric Bridges, Tina Bridges, Angelia Bridges, Harry Bridges, Carolyn Bridges, and Laquita Bridges Cross; 15 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lib was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Richard Holt; her children, Larry Bridges, Wayne Bridges, Gene Bridges, Keith Bridges, and Gary Bridges; and grandson, Michael Bridges; and 12 siblings.
