Margaret Fletcher Johns, 87,of Recovery Community in Bainbridge, GA passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, FL. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvania Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Johns was born in Climax, GA to the late Malana J. Fletcher and Willie Leal Evans Fletcher. She graduated from Climax High School and Georgia Southwestern College, and was a homemaker and a member of Recovery United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Roy Wilson Johns of Bainbridge, GA; a son, Ronald Johns of Temple Terrace, FL; five daughters, Patsy Chandler of Winterville, GA, Peggy Evans of Bainbridge, GA, Emily Sessions of Gordon, AL, Debbie Maxwell of Havana, FL, and Teresa Ebanks of Tampa, FL; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
