Margaret Joy Midgette, 79, of Bainbridge, GA, formerly of Panacea, FL passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Margaret Joy Benton was born April 2, 1941 in Miami, FL, the daughter of Hinton and Eloise Ard Benton. She earned a high school diploma and credit towards an associate degree. Marge was a certified nursing assistant and worked for many years at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was Baptist by faith. Marge was a care giver by nature. She loved helping people and always found time to share the burdens others were carrying. Her job was not simply a job, but a calling on her life. Marge loved people and people loved her. Her children and grandchildren can attest to the lengths "Grandma" went to ensuring everyone had exactly what they needed. Survivors include her children, Debbra Todd of Bainbridge, GA, and Donald Ford of Greenville, FL; her grandchildren, Patrick & Stephanie, Kyle, and Barbara Ann; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Shane. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her siblings, Elton and Elizabeth; and her granddaughter, Suzanne.
