Margie Brooks Gray, 79, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at her son's residence near Havana, FL. The graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009 at Oak City Cemetery with Pastor Ron Roessler officiating. Mrs. Gray was born October 10, 1929 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of James William Brooks and Evelyn Rogers Brooks. She was a certified nursing assistant and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three sons, James Walker of Blountstown, FL, Kenny Walker and Wayne Walker of Bainbridge, GA; four daughters, Esther Ballard of Atlanta, GA, Evelyn Roan of Clarksville, GA, Patricia Dean of East Point, FL, and Kathy Stilmack of Bainbridge, GA; three brothers; three sisters; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
