Marjorie Byrd Creel, 58, of Jakin, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Harvey Cemetery with Rev. Doug Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. She grew up in the Savannah area and has lived near Jakin since 1999. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her daughter, Sylve Christiane Edwards; her son and daughter-in-law, Ryan James Edwards and Rachel Edwards; her grandchildren, Emma Grace, Alxis, Ivy, and Landon; her mother, Christine Byrd; her sisters, Betty Linderman, Shirley Edwards and her husband, Keith Edwards, and Michelle Deskins; her brother, Jimmy Byrd; many nieces and nephews; and her companion, Branan Harvey of Jakin, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Byrd and her brother, Paul Byrd.In loving memory by your family, you are greatly missed.
