Martha Hodges

Martha Wofford Hodges, of Brinson, GA, passed away Sunday, March 14th at the age of 92. Born in Gainesville, GA on August 31, 1928, she grew up in Athens, GA and was a graduate of the University of Georgia. She spent many years as a teacher in the Decatur County School System, where she took great pleasure in working toward shaping young lives. She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Annie Wofford, her husband, Kenneth Hodges, and daughters Martha Ann Hodges and Kathy Hodges. She is survived by her daughter Jane McGie, grandson Clay Dale (Robin), and grandchildren Alexandra and Gavin Dale, and her brother, Dr Benjamin Wofford, Jr(Sandra) and three nieces. A private graveside service will be held at Brinson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brinson Baptist Church, PO Box 655, Brinson, GA 39825 or the charity of your choice.
