Martha Love

Martha Wimberly Brock-Love, 66, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Blackjack Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Love was born March 31, 1950 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Lawson and Louise Wimberly. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Bainbridge College. Mrs. Martha enjoyed cooking and searching for new recipes on the computer. She loved spending time with her family who were always ready to try her newest concoction. She was a member of Black Jack Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Kim Brock Powell and her husband, Jeff, of Bainbridge, GA and Alton Brock and his wife, Jennifer, of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Ashlyn and Andrew Brock; her siblings, Rosemary Powell, Ann Cassels, Lawson (Boy) Wimberly and is wife, Patricia, and Buddy Wimberly, all of Bainbridge; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Ferbie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Love.
