Martha Starcher

\\Mrs. Martha Jane Starcher, age 74, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. Martha Starcher was born in Mogadore, Ohio, November 17, 1939. She married Donald Lee Starcher, who preceded her in death in 1982. In 1988, Martha moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Bainbridge. Mrs. Starcher ran Starcher Personal Care Home with love and compassion. She loved to square dance and sew. Martha enjoyed working in her flowers and her rock garden. An animal lover, she leaves behind her three faithful companions, Cookie, Precious, and Quincy. Martha Jane Starcher is survived by her children, Billy Jenkins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Marta Smolk and husband, Mark of Mogadore, Ohio, Dianne Frederick and husband, Ron of Lorain, Ohio, and Ricky Starcher and wife, Patricia of Vada, Georgia; sister, Norma Wingate of Bainbridge; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren: and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Smith and Agnes Irene Kreener Smith; husband, Donald Lee Starcher; and son, Richard Starcher. Memorial service to be held at the Starcher home, July 5, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. Rev. David Cook will be officiating.
